Authorised as an Approved GATS Trustee

Cafico International has been authorised by the Aviation Working Group (AWG) to act as trustee service provider for the Global Aircraft Trading System (GATS), a digital trading platform that has been designed to modernise aircraft equipment trading and financing.

Cafico International is the only Irish owned GATS approved trustee.

AWG has developed GATS to facilitate the trading and financing of aircraft equipment by reducing the burdens on lessees, lessors and financiers and to promote aircraft equipment trading and financing in an efficient, secure and predictable manner. GATS includes a live and searchable electronic ledger displaying ownership details and security interests and will build on the practice of the holding of aircraft equipment in trusts by a professional trustee on behalf of beneficiary.
